From 49 year old vines (“Alta Reben” means old vines) planted in loamy, mineral laden soil, on a steep southern hillside. The gentle breezes at night wave from the Viennese Woods over the Pointengraben to Grinzing and Vienna City. Given 365 days of manual care these patriarchal vines create a Grüner Veltliner with exotic spiciness, racy soil-accents, and fresh acidity. A regional speciality, a “Veltliner du Terroir”.
